…the more excited they get… I looked long and hard at the local thrift shop for the perfect stuffie for each dog and wrapped each with care in paper bags. First up was Kobie who at 9 years old was WAY more excited about the biscuit in the bag than the cute blue ( I thought black in the store) teddy bear with the heart on it’s chest which I thought had Kobie written all over it. Next up was Olivia who at 11.5 year old bounced around a bit but then settled in for a nap with her new found duck friend. Olivia honestly seems to appreciate things that are just for her. Then it was Jake’s turn! It was hard to get photos because he wouldn’t stop running around in circles but then he did settle down with his new dog and started nibbling on it’s feet. And finally it was Brita’s turn and I thought I’m going to make her work a bit for it. Since there was a biscuit in her bag I told her to “search” and she methodically started going around the room. First, she found a biscuit left in another bag but then she found hers and was delighted with her cute monkey friend as you can see from the pictures!
And then came the eggnog (raw eggs and kefir), followed by chunks of beef. Later in the day, mackerel made the kibble for supper especially good! And noooo… they are NOT spoiled!
It was, after all, Christmas Day!!
