Made an appointment to take Jake to the vet today after work because he was limping. By the end of the day he was holding up his leg and not putting any weight on it. When we got there he had a slight fever and was eating up all the attention the girls were giving him. Off to get x-rays and after looking at the first one I got a sick feeling in my stomach. One very good hip and one that was a mess. Long story short… 5 x-rays… Dr. Jeff’s comments “right hip subluxation with moth-eaten femoral head, right ischium displaced.” Blood work was ok.. took along pain pills and antibiotics.
